I can’t wait for more IRL opportunities next year across the US and abroad. Where should we meet up first!?
2026 AI Predictions (and What They Mean for You)
Last week, Greg Isenberg, serial internet entrepreneur, posted his 21 predictions for AI in 2026. Usually, I am quick to dismiss advice from self-proclaimed AI tech bros, but I was pleasantly surprised by his list and thought he had some solid predictions.
Here are the ones that stood out and what they mean for you:
🦋 #4 & #12: The Rise of the One-Woman Empire
Greg's Prediction: Micro-companies explode in volume and weirdness. Tiny AI-augmented businesses serving tiny online tribes become a real career path. Plus, the first agent-driven media companies appeared: daily shows, newsletters, and entire channels run autonomously with one human editor.
My Interpretation: The future of business isn't hiring a team of 20. It's you + AI running a full media empire from your kitchen table. One person can now do what used to require an entire production staff. This is your opportunity to finally start that side hustle you have always dreamed of or finally build that app you always talked about building.
What this means: Women are building killer businesses with the help of AI at a rate like never before. Here are some of my personal favorites you should have on your radar:
Ruth - The AI-powered career platform built to close the gender wage gap, founded by Valerie Chapman.
Bubble Lab - An open sourced code-based agentic workflow platform, co-founded by Selina Li.
Duckbill - The AI executive assistant for your personal life, co-founded by Meghan Verena Joyce.

🦋 #11: Personalized Education Unbundles the University
Greg's Prediction: Personalized education unbundles the university. A major university might even drop its computer science degree in favor of "agent systems," "model psychology," and "human interface architecture."
My Interpretation: We've been stuck in a one-size-fits-all education model for decades. With AI, we're about to see true personalization, with learning tailored to how each student actually learns, their interests, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Everyone gets their own Harvard-level education track, customized just for them.
What this means: In addition to education, we are also going to see hyper personalization in other prominent fields like medicine, nutrition, and career development. The $60K–$250K university degree might become optional when you can get a personalized AI education for a fraction of the cost.
Why human communities still matter: This is exactly why spaces like AI Snack Club exist. AI can personalize the content, but it can't replicate human accountability, shared experiences, or learning by doing together. You need both the AI tutor and the IRL study group.

🦋 #20: Blue-Collar Jobs Become Gold-Collar
Greg's Prediction: Blue-collar trades become safe havens. Electricians, plumbers, and HVAC techs see wages skyrocket as white-collar automation accelerates.
My Interpretation: Here's the plot twist nobody saw coming: while AI replaces knowledge workers, the people who work with their hands are suddenly in the driver's seat. You can automate a marketing analyst. You can't automate fixing a leaking pipe in your ceiling at 2am.
What this means: If you have kids thinking about college, trades suddenly look very different than they did five years ago. A plumber might out-earn a software engineer by 2030. That sentence would've sounded crazy in 2020.

Tiktok AI humor is elite
🦋 #14: Analog Becomes the Ultimate Luxury
Greg's Prediction: The rise of analog status. "Analog" becomes the ultimate flex. Film cameras, handwritten notes, and acoustic instruments explode in value.
My Interpretation: This is my favorite prediction on the entire list. In a world drowning in AI-generated content, anything provably human becomes precious. I already own several handheld point-and-shoot cameras, a Fuji Instax film camera, and I dream about my old pink razr flip phone. Turns out I'm just early to the trend.

🔥What’s Hot on the Internet:
AI-generated music is raking in millions on Spotify. Completely fake artists with fake personas are pulling real streaming revenue while TikTok's viral "I Run" song sparked debates over whether it was human-made
BEIS luggage sent a Cyber Monday email with subject line "FRAUD ALERT" to announce a sale. When your marketing simulates identity theft, maybe rethink the strategy…
Spotify Wrapped bounced back after last year's AI flop. They ditched the gimmicky features, hit 200M users in 24 hours vs. 62 hours in 2024, while Granola's "Crunched 2025" shows how to do AI year-recaps right with LinkedIn flooded by users sharing work insights. Check out mine here!
Grok is exposing real home addresses of non-public individuals, another reason for why I will never recommend this AI tool by Elon Musk.
