🧃 The best AI tool isn't the one with the most features. It's the one you actually learn to use well.

Happy Sunday besties! Hope you're feeling refreshed after the first full week of the new year. I'm also about to say something that might surprise you given how much I reference ChatGPT, but …..I barely use it anymore.

Plot twist, right? More on that below!

What's inside this week:

  • Membership launches Tuesday at 50% off

  • AI Snack of the Week: Why I'm going all in on Claude

🎉 Membership Launches this Tuesday!!

We're SO close. AI Snack Club officially opens on January 13, 2026 and I couldn't be more excited.

This is the lowest price we'll ever offer, and it's only available until Friday, January 23rd. If you've been thinking about it, this is your sign to commit to learning AI.

🦋 All Bets on Claude

Here's my confession: even though I always reference ChatGPT in these newsletters, Claude has been my go-to girl for months now.

While OpenAI has been busy adding... questionable features (more on that in a sec), Anthropic has been quietly building the most capable AI assistant I've ever used.

Here's what changed the game: Opus 4.5.

Anthropic released Claude Opus 4.5 in November and it's genuinely different. This model scored 80.9% on SWE-bench (a benchmark that tests whether AI can solve real GitHub issues in actual production codebases.) That's the first time ANY model has broken 80%. For context: it outperformed every human who ever took Anthropic's internal engineering hiring test.

The coding capabilities are now outpacing everything else on the market. If you build anything, websites, automations, spreadsheet formulas, Claude gets it in a way that doesn’t feel possible.

Not to mention, the overall look and feel of Claude is warm and inviting. It has personality and color that feels very different from the sterile ChatGPT environment.

And then there's the leadership difference.

I recently had the opportunity to hear from Daniela Amodei, Anthropic's President and Cofounder, and she doubled down on something that matters: Claude is NOT going the way of ChatGPT.

You may have seen the news—Sam Altman announced ChatGPT is rolling out adult erotica features for "verified adults." So creepy and such a money grab.

Meanwhile, Anthropic's whole thing is building AI that's helpful, harmless, and honest (for the most part compared to their competitors).

Here's what I'm committing to in 2026:

I'm going to deep dive into Claude's capabilities over the next few weeks and bring you along. Because here's what most people don't know: Anthropic has a treasure chest of how-to's, examples, and prompt guides that don't get NEARLY enough attention.

I'm talking tutorials, use case guides, and courses that actually teaches you how to get better results. It's all there. People just aren't talking about it.

So if you've been Claude-curious but didn't know where to start, stay tuned. We're about to go deep.

🐛 Your turn:

Have you tried Claude yet? Are you team ChatGPT, team Claude, using both, or using another platform (Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity)? Hit reply and tell me your experience. I would love to gauge where we all stand.

Why AI Isn’t Replacing Affiliate Marketing After All

“AI will make affiliate marketing irrelevant.”

Our research shows the opposite.

Shoppers use AI to explore options, but they trust creators, communities, and reviews before buying. With less than 10 percent clicking AI links, affiliate content now shapes both conversions and AI recommendations.

What’s Hot on the Internet

  • "Slop" is Merriam-Webster's Word of the Year, a nod to the AI-generated sludge flooding the internet. We're all swimming in it now. (link)

  • Mark Zuckerberg is personally hand-delivering soup to poach AI researchers. The AI talent war has officially gotten weird. (link)

  • Disney signed a $1B deal with OpenAI to generate videos of 200+ characters while simultaneously suing Google for AI copyright infringement with those same characters. Rules don’t apply for all. (link)

  • A linguistics study found people started using 51% more AI-sounding words like "delve" and "meticulous" after ChatGPT launched, even in unscripted speech. We're all becoming chatbots now. (link)
