So excited to be kicking off with our First Community Spotlight with Brigitte!
Name: Brigitte Gomez
Role: Sr Associate, Fraud Partner Operations @ DoorDash
Location: Los Angeles, CA
About: Recently engaged! Boxing for 5 years!
What she does: Brigitte oversees DoorDash's offshore fraud support operations, keeping new queue launches on track and partnering with teams across Engineering, Content, and Strategy & Operations. Her favorite part is working with BPO partners. "I get to help them solve problems, level up training, hit our goals, and build genuinely strong, enjoyable partnerships."
Why she joined AI Snack Club: Brigitte earned her PMP in November and is on a mission to keep building her skill set. She's been looking at structured courses, following AI professionals on LinkedIn, and figuring out how these tools can improve both her work and daily life.
How she's using AI right now: At work, she leans on AI for drafting emails and Slack messages. For personal use, she uses it to brainstorm everything from wedding ideas (she got engaged in April 2025!) to random day-to-day questions.
Her biggest AI win so far: Brigitte built a custom GPT for her team to streamline how they launch support queues with offshore vendors. She took their checklist of action items and turned it into an interactive tool that walks users through each step, with prompts that make them confirm before moving forward to keep everyone accountable.
"It was a solid start, but a recent process change made it outdated, so I'm waiting for the new flow to be finalized before I update and test the next version."
What she's still figuring out: "The main thing is that I still feel intimidated by it all! I'm stuck in that space where I don't always know how to start or what I even need, which gets frustrating, but I'm trying to push through by learning on my own, following AI voices on LinkedIn, and looking for ways I can automate parts of my job."

Blue, Brigitte’s almost 5 year old Standard Poodle
Hidden talent: "I've been boxing for almost five years and it's easily my favorite way to work out. I do it purely for fun and fitness, and while I haven't sparred yet, I'm finally starting to warm up to the idea."
How she recharges: "I love relaxing by watching a show or movie. I usually go for thrillers, mind benders, horror, zombies, sci-fi."
Coffee order: Matcha or Latte
Favorite SNACK: Munchies flamin hot 🔥
Thank you Brigitte for sharing your story and AI insights! Please, feel free to connect with her on LinkedIn.

What I Snacked On This Week
READ: This piece from Every reframes a "meandering" career as a strength. I read it right before I quit after 8 years in corporate consulting. It gave me such a powerful perspective that leveraged my career into joining a political campaign on a whim (moved to Michigan for 3 months!), joined a female founded startup in SF, and now building this incredible community. I strongly believe that AI gives you the support to experiment with paths faster, with less risk, and turn those twists into real opportunities. Read it →
PODCAST: Social Currency's episode on the rise of AI commerce unpacks how shopping is shifting to chats and agents. And why attention, trust, and online reputation are becoming the real drivers of which brands win. Also some good backstory on Google and OpenAI. Listen →
APP: Rodeo is built for screenshot culture: drop screenshots of TikToks, recs, menus, or events and turn them into organized plans with friends instead of letting them disappear in your camera roll. PSA: App is currently on a waitlist, but I am in talks with the team on getting codes for everyone! Stay tuned. Learn more →
VIBE CODE: In case you missed my pre-Thanksgiving article, Little Calendars is a playful, coded-by-one-person corner of the internet where you can spin up a free, custom advent calendar and share a tiny dose of delight with your people. Make one →
EXPERIMENT: I've been playing with Lovable, the no-code "vibe coding" tool, and cooked up a few personalized surprises for AI Snack Club Founding Members. Consider this your sneak peek before January 13! Any guesses on what it does? 👀
