What she does: Melis leads brand strategy and go-to-market plans across Amazon and retail in the wellness space. Her day-to-day is a mix of shaping the future of the brand, partnering with R&D, and turning complex science into campaigns people actually want to engage with.

Why she joined AI Snack Club: "I wanted to meet ambitious women who are experimenting, learning, and winning in AI. And honestly, I wanted to be around people who are just as excited about leveling up their workflows as I am."

How she's using AI right now: At work, Melis's team is piloting Scoop, an AI-first platform for regulatory documentation in the supplement world. "Regulatory compliance is both ever-changing and a massive time sink, so I'm genuinely excited to pilot this tool. It feels like the future of doing things faster, cleaner, and way less painfully." For personal use, she relies on AI for planning trips, figuring out what to cook, and adjudicating ongoing debates with her fiancé. "(AI has opinions. He has opinions. I stay neutral.)"

Her biggest AI win so far: This one goes back to 2021, before ChatGPT even existed. Melis was working at a Harvard start-up burning over $30K/month on marketing, with almost half going to an agency whose results absolutely did not match the price tag.

She pivoted to a performance-focused AI partner (AgentMark.ai), onboarded in hours, and the impact was seen quickly: 700+ sales, major boosts in awareness, 29 campaigns, real A/B learning, and enough savings to expand the team. "It was my first taste of how AI can transform growth when you pair it with smart strategy."

What she's most excited to learn next: Hilberts.Ai. "It feels like the glow-up of AI for marketers. Not a writing assistant, but a full-on growth brain. It sits on top of your data, looks across acquisition → retention → monetization, and basically taps you on the shoulder like: 'Here's what's happening, here's why, and here's your biggest lever. Go.'"

What she's still figuring out: "I'd love to set up automations! What a dream to have tasks complete themselves in the background while I focus on the fun, strategic, creative stuff."

Hidden talent: Melis spent her childhood summers picking hazelnuts on her family's farm in Fatsa, Turkey, so she has very strong opinions about what good hazelnuts should taste like. She was also featured in P&G's Secret brand campaign when she founded a pop-up Turkish coffeehouse that honored her roots and brought people together. Watch it here →

How she recharges: "I go outside and do something mildly dangerous... skiing, biking, whatever forces my mind to stop spiraling and just pay attention."
