🦋 ChatGPT Now Has a "Warmth Dial"
OpenAI just rolled out new personality controls that let you adjust ChatGPT's warmth, enthusiasm, and emoji use - finally!!
If you hated the robotic, overly agreeable voice like I called out in my AI Betrayal List post, this is the fix. It also ties to last week’s newsletter point: the more human the tool feels, the more it can blur lines. So I’m not turning it into a buddy. I’m turning it into my personal assistant.
Not everyone has these newly released features yet (I'm still waiting!), but here's how to use it: Open ChatGPT → Settings → Personalization → Characteristics
The best way to learn AI and to understand its capabilities is by experimenting. Once you have access to these settings, run a 3 day test. Change one setting per day, then run your most used prompts. Keep notes on what feels most usable and at the end, lock in the combo that gets you the best output. Let me know what settings you choose!
